I would suggest Ryona (ryonani) and the differing flavors of it.
Ryona is defined as: "Ryona (リョナ), which comes from ryonanī (リョナニー?), portmanteau of ryōki (猟奇?, bizarre) and onanī (オナニー?, masturbation), is a Japanese term for a sexual complex where a female character is, usually sexually, attacked or tortured by either a man or another female character(s). In the Western world, it refers specifically to artwork or manga depicting a physically hurt or wounded girl in sexual situations. While the term is recent, the theme has been in western culture since the 70's such as in horror films that features women being murdered or tortured. Ryona art is often explicit in nature; some common themes include Sadism."

Wrestling (woman on woman or man on woman or combination thereof)
Guro/Death (women getting killed)
Vore (woman getting eaten)
Gyaku (woman beating up a man)
Zako (many unnamed women getting hurt)
Superheroine (women with extraordinary powers getting hurt)
Tentacle Ryona (tentacle monsters or beasts hurting women)

There's a whole lot to think about there. A lot of it is kind of obscure (or maybe it's just because it's not allowed on /d/...). Some of it I know about, like the "Superheroines in Peril" IRC channel has been around for many, many years. I'm not sure I would really be up for a poll relating to something so all-encompassing that you'd have to explain it...
